Philly Arts Connection To Open Exhibit In Blue Bell

Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell will host a unique new art exhibit.

BLUE BELL, PA — Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell will host a unique new art exhibit: the Philadelphia Arts Connection.

The exhibition opens Nov. 16 at Montgomery County Community College’s Fine Arts Center Gallery, Central Campus, located on 340 DeKalb Pike in Blue Bell.

The “Meet the Artists” opening reception will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public, the school said.

According to Montco, the participating artists include Alice K. Chung, Kyungja O. Kim, Sung H. Ham, Yeonmi Ahn, Clara Soyoun Kim, Sueim Koo, and Jamie Moon. Their artwork is created in a variety of media, including oil, watercolor, acrylics and mixed media.

“We are delighted to share our artwork at Montgomery County Community College’s Fine Arts Gallery, and we invite the community to come to the reception on November 30,” said Alice K. Chung, in a statement.

The Philadelphia Arts Connection (PAC) was established in 2010 by a group of Korean émigré artists from the greater Philadelphia-New York region.
