Plowing Continues, Lansdale Asks: Where Are Snow Problem Areas?

What parts of the borough remain in the worst condition after the storm?

LANSDALE, PA -- Lansdale officials want to know where in the borough the conditions are the worst after the weekend’s blizzard a few days of plowing.

The snow has stopped falling but the mess remains — and in some areas, residents are concerned because roadways are still messy and sidewalks haven’t been cleared. We want to know where. In addition to the phone calls and emails we’d like to compile the most comprehensive list of trouble spots within the Borough. In order to do so please post, and be as specific as possible, locations that could use some further attention.

On the flip side, we would love to hear about positive experiences with super responsive crews or pleasant surprises from neighbors and friends.

While (the storm) brought us snow incredibly quickly, it will take time to clean out completely and we appreciate your patience and assistance in getting Lansdale cleaned up as quickly as possible.

The borough said that they will continue to focus on improving narrow roads that are lined with parked cars, as well as cleaning up intersections where snow is limiting visibility.

“Staff will work extended hours and continue to plow through the entire Borough,” officials said. “We will get to alleys, however there is no definitive time frame on when that will happen.”
