2 Arrested After Barricade Situation In Hatfield Wednesday Night
Breaking: Authorities said the West Broad Street area should be avoided as a police incident is currently underway.

HATFIELD, PA — Two people were arrested on Wednesday night following a barricade situation in Hatfield, police said.
Authorities notified the public that the West Broad Street area should be avoided due to a "police incident." The incident was first reported at about 6:06 p.m. in the area of West Broad between Main Street and Koffel Road.
Two suspects were in custody by 9:30 p.m., however, police still described the scene as "active" at that time.

Residents of the area said that there was at least one individual with a gun. Several police cruisers and a SWAT team are in the area, as well as helicopters.
Police did not elaborated on the nature of the incident but said avoiding the area was a matter of safety.
