Pop-Up Beer Garden Reportedly Considered In Lansdale

LANSDALE, PA -- Lansdale's borough council is considering making its outdoor beer festival a more permanent fixture in the community.

A pop-up beer garden, which would run for around 10 weeks each year beginning in June, has been proposed, according to The Reporter.

The garden would pop-up on Friday and be taken down on Sunday, the report states.

The idea reportedly came about because of the popularity of Lansdale's Beer Tasting Festival.

The Reporter notes the presentation came from a co-organizer of the Festival, and the owner of the Blue Dog Pub in Towamencin.

The pair said that the West Main parking lot, at Main and Susquehanna Avenue, would be utilized for the garden, the report states.

Concerns include security and bringing children in the area, especially on First Friday, according to the report.
