POSTPONED: Souderton Community Night Out Pushed Back

The Souderton Borough Police Department’s Community Night Out has been postponed due to rain.

The event in Souderton Park has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 13 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Per the Souderton Borough website:

All are welcome to attend this free event Promoting Crime Awareness at the Souderton Community Park. Join the community at the corner of Wile Avenue & Reliance Road (behind the Souderton Police Department). There will be Public Safety Equipment/Emergency Response Teams, Food Drive supporting Keystone Opportunity and a Car Show.

The Local Police & Fire Company Vehicles will be on display. This year the Keystone Radio-Controlled Model Airplane Club will be on site demonstrating their radio-controlled flying machines. An added event will be the “Candy Drop” where “Sweet Treats” will be dropped by a drone at approximately 7:00pm. The JeffSTAT helicopter will be on-site at approximately 8:00pm.

Enjoy Homemade Waffles and Ice Cream provided by the Souderton Police Department. All donations accepted will benefit Anthony Flick. Activities will include a Pie Eating Contest with local firefighters participating, The Fitzpatrick School of Dance - Irish Dancers (performing in the band shell at 6:30pm), and a Karate Demonstration by Acton Karate. Food and Beverage will be provided by North Penn Goodwill, Moon Bounce, Dunk Tank, a Raffle for 10 Bicycles and a Community Outreach “Wheel of Deals”. Spin for prizes compliments of VF Factory Outlets. Richter Drafting and Office Supply will be providing locked containers for shredding of your personal documents. Bring a Non-perishable food item(s) to the Keystone Opportunity Table and help fill the Food Bank for the local community. For each item Keystone Opportunity receives, get a raffle ticket for any number of Door Prizes raffled off throughout the evening event. Monetary donations are also accepted for additional raffle tickets. Let’s fill the Souderton Food Bank.
