Pregnant Woman Rescued After Northeast Extension Crash

A pregnant woman who was trapped in her car following a three-vehicle crash on the Northeast Extension Monday has been rescued and is recovering from non life-threatening injuries, according to reports.

The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, NBC10 reported.

She was one of three people injured in the morning car accident on the southbound Northeast Extension in Salford. The three-car accident happened at mile marker 37.5 in Salford, according to CBS Philly.
