Real Estate Market Statistics August 2013

The August 2013 Real Estate Market Statistics are officially posted for all our local counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.  Year to date in Montgomery County, August brought in some impressive numbers with settled units up 15.18% from last year.  The average sales price in Montgomery County was $322,000 up 3% from last year!  The list to sale price for Montgomery County came in at 94%, meaning that homes sold only 6% less than the original asking price.  To take a look at our surrounding counties Bucks County was up 20.48% in settled units with an average settled price of $333,000, Chester County was up 16.52% at $359,000 average settled, Delaware County up 11.34% at $276,000, and lastly Philadelphia County was up 19.62% at $179,000 for the average settled price.

Narrowing in to our local Lansdale Boro, 15 Single Family Homes settled in August 2013 for an average settled price of $223,390.  The majority of these homes (12) were 3 bedroom homes and the rest (3) were 4 bedrooms.  Year to date 110 homes sold in the Lansdale Boro.
