Route 73 Bridge Over Perkiomen Creek Reopens
The Route 73 bridge connecting Perkiomen Township and Skippack Township carries more than 12,000 vehicles per day.

The Route 73 bridge over Perkiomen Creek connecting Perkiomen and Skippack townships has reopened, PennDOT announced over the weekend.
Repairs on the 92-year-old bridge were completed a month ahead of time, authorities said. The bridge was shut down for rehabilitation on April 25 due to structural deficiencies.
The $1.1 million project involved replacing the deteriorated concrete beams and bridge deck and repairing the support abutments and drainage system, State Rep. Tom Quigley (R-146).
