Royal Farms In Upper Gwynedd Reportedly On Hold

UPPER GWYNEDD, PA — The plan for Royal Farms to come to Upper Gwynedd has hit a bump in the road.

The Reporter says that the developer, Hartford Properties, has withdrawn a zoning variance that would be needed to attain permission to develop the property.

The store at the corner of Sumneytown Pike and Church Road has been under negotiations since 2015.

The zoning board's next meeting is Sept. 26. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Upper Gwynedd Township building at 1 Parkside Place.
