Save Nepal: Lansdale Woman Working To Raise Funds For Her Native Country
The native of Nepal is working to raise funds to send vital relief supplies to the country torn apart by this weekend's earthquake.

A Lansdale lawyer is trying to raise funds to support her native Nepal in the wake of this weekend’s deadly earthquake, according multiple reports.
Bandita Sharma-Dahal, an immigration and nationality lawyer, is a board member at the Nepal Foundation, and has family that survived the earthquake, reports state.
Her focus right now is improving fundraising efforts that provide things like clean water, blankets, and sanitary items, according to reports.

The goal of Nepal Foundation is to improve relations between US and Nepal, “developing educational, medical and small-scale economic projects in Nepal and organizing social and cultural exchanges between the two countries.”
Clients of Sharma-Dahal described her as extremely efficient, intelligent, kind, and hard-working.

“She took over our case and handled it in an extraordinary way,” says Sangita Lama. “She was very meticulous and make sure nothing went unchecked and helped us identify the problems with our case. She kept us well informed and at no time did we feel left out during the whole process. She is very hard working and takes care of her clients. We were impressed with her work ethic.”
