SEPTA Garage In Lansdale Begins Construction

The long-awaited SEPTA garage in Lansdale is about to become a reality.

Construction began on the new project on Monday, Lansdale and SEPTA announced.

The plan calls for construction to be completed by February 2017.

Vehicle access will be granted to the site during construction on the outer perimeter of the parking lot, the borough said. There will be 170 parking spaces available, which is 380 less than normal.

Additional parking will be available at Pennbrook Station and North Wales Station, offering over 400 additional spaces between them.
