Shooting Incident Under Investigation In Hatfield: Cops

Surveillance footage showed this car fleeing the scene after several gunshots were fired, police said.

HATFIELD, PA -- Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Hatfield on Sunday, Sept. 9.

The incident occurred at around 2:09 p.m. on the 1600 block of North Broad Street.

Video surveillance from the area showed an orange Hyundai Santa Fe with dark tinted windows stopped in a nearby parking lot.

A black male is shown getting out of the driver's side rear door following a struggle of some kind with the other occupants of the car, police said.

As he ran off, gunshots were fired, according to authorities. The Santa Fe then fled the scene, heading onto North Broad Street toward Cowpath Road.

No one was injured by the gunfire, according to police.

Around three to four gunshots were fired, authorities said.

The Santa Fe also has a chrome door edge trim.
