The Show Must Go On!
A Little Rain Couldn't Stop A&T Chevrolet-Subaru's Celebration of Cars Benefit Car Show.
A little rain couldn’t keep car and truck fans away from the 2021 edition of A&T Chevrolet-Subaru’s Celebration of Cars Benefit Car Show on Sunday, October 10, 2021. This is the third year for the show that draws participants from across Bucks, Montgomery, and Lehigh Counties, and even from as far as New Jersey, all in the name of raising funds for local charities Keystone Opportunity Center and Dog Town Rescue. The final tally for the 2021 Show will be announced soon.
This year’s Show included a bonus for Dog Town Rescue and Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue. Tom Lawrence, A&T Chevrolet-Subaru’s Service Director, and an avid runner created the Running for the Paws fundraiser to help animal shelters affected by reduced financial donations during the height of the pandemic. The fundraiser drew $2,285.00 in online donations which were matched by A&T Chevrolet-Subaru, resulting in a total of $4,570.00 split between Dog Town Rescue and Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue.
The day kicked off with the Sellersville Volunteer Fire Company unfurling the American Flag from their ladder truck, accompanied by the National Anthem. Attendees of the Celebration of Cars also had the opportunity to visit with adoptable dogs from Dog Town Rescue and Last Chance Ranch, learn more about the mission of Keystone Opportunity Center, and enjoy free face painting with Sunny Face Painting. DJ Dan from First Class Entertainment kept the event moving smoothly and no one left hungry, thanks to ample offerings from The Tot Rod: Gourmet Tots and More, Donut NV, Your Chocolate Guy, and Nourish Kitchen + Catering.
