Today I am grateful for special places. Although we had been to the amazing Spruce Street Park in Philadelphia a bunch of times, we had never walked out on the piers until our friend visited and wanted a beer. . .or two.
There is a little floating island oasis, loaded with brilliant plants and the occasional wild life between the two piers. Also the absolute best. . .and I mean the BEST ribs I have ever eaten in my life! Not cheap (3 for $10) but worth every dime. I didn’t get a picture because I glommed them so fast and digestive pictures are just tacky.
