Sultans Of Sing: 4 North Penn Students Named To State Ensemble
Several North Penn High School student singers are among the highest ranking in the entire state.
LANSDALE, PA — Several North Penn High School student singers are doing the region proud.
Four of them were just named to the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) All-State Chorus Festival, which brings together some of the top teen singers from around the commonwealth.
The honored students are Ella Notte, a soprano 1, Alayna Drolet, a soprano 2, Brendan Johnson, a tenor 1, and Jack Bachman, a bass 1.

They'll join the other highest ranking students from around the state at the upcoming Festival at Kalahari Resort in the Poconos. It will take place from April 19 thorugh April 22.
The four North Penn singers first auditioned to be part of the PMEA Region VI Chorus during a competition with the rest of southeastern Pennsylvania at West Chester University.

The All-State ensemble will be led by Amanda Quist, who is the director of choral activities for the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
