Survivor: Lansdale

You can use it to snare an animal if you are lost in the wild. You can use it to make a shelter between two trees. 

Need fishing line? Use it for that too. The same goes for the string on your bow or the strap for your rifle.

And it fits snug around your wrist.

director Tom Meyer and acquisitions manager Denise Brackin showed residents young and old how to make their own survival straps using parachute cords in many different colors.

Meyer said the event was well-attended. He was inspired by two things: a posting on Facebook and a how-to TV show.
