A&T Chevrolet-Subaru’s second annual Celebration of Cars car show, which welcomed show vehicles of all makes and models to their Sellersville location on Sunday, October 13, 2019, nearly doubled in size with over 200 participating vehicles. As a result, the funds collected from the registration fees and raffle prize entries grew to $2,713.00. A&T president Jeff Allen matched that amount, bringing the total to $5,426.00.

Keystone Opportunity Center and Dog Town Rescue were the beneficiaries once again, with each organization receiving $2,713.00. A&T has a long-term history with both non-profits.

“It’s important to us that we give back to our community,” said A&T Chevrolet-Subaru president, Jeff Allen. “This event is perfect because it brings together our car community and these local non-profits doing important work. Every dollar that comes in for this event goes right into the proceeds. We have fun for all ages with food trucks, face painting, and a DJ. It’s a great time for families and car lovers. Everyone save the date, because we’re doing it again Sunday, October 11, 2020.”

Malcolm Friend, director of resource development for Keystone Opportunity Center, agrees: “Keystone Opportunity Center is delighted to be a beneficiary of this show. The array of cars on display was wonderful this year, and we want to recognize both the philanthropic generosity of A&T and everyone who attended this year. Please know that you continue to make a difference in the lives of community members facing poverty, hunger, and homelessness.”

Next up for A&T? Subaru Share the Love, where customers purchasing or leasing a new Subaru vehicle from November 14, 2019, to January 2, 2020, can choose to designate $250.00 to one of the Hometown Charities -- Keystone Opportunity Center and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter -- or one of four national charities -- ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals On Wheels America®, and the National Park Foundation. A&T Subaru is also hosting a “Fill the Car” campaign, with the showroom serving as a collection location for donated items from the Keystone Opportunity Center wish list through January 2, 2020.
