There's so much going on, it called for an extended rundown: Towamencin Day, Lansdale Historical Society fundraiser, Montgomery Township Police Day, the Lansdale Farmers' Market opening and more

1. The Lansdale Farmers’ Market on Railroad Avenue at 9 a.m.

2. Morgan Log House, 850 Weikel Road, Towamencin, holds an exhibition with more than 100 items from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War The event is free.

3. Towamencin Day is today from noon to 4 p.m. in Fischer’s Park, 2225 Bustard Road, Towamecnin. Featured this year are the Montgomery County Concert Band, North Penn jazz bands, dog agility shows by K-9 JYM, inflatables by A+ Jump, face painting, balloon animals and police and fire activities. There will be food by Chick-fil-A, as well as hot dogs, water ice and more. There will be overflow parking with shuttle service from the Towamencin Business Center at Sumneytown Pike and Bustard Road.

4. North Penn High School Key Club holds a yard sale today at the from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

5. A.M. Kulp and Hatfield Elementary Schools each hold their own brand of community fun today. Kulp Karnival takes palce from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Hatfield May Fair runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Kulp Karnival features a silent auction beginning at 1:30 p.m.

6. Franconia Mennonite Church’s senior high youth will be collecting used bikes today from 9 a.m. to noon at the church, located at 613 Harleysville Pike (Route 113) in Franconia Township. Bikes will be repaired and distributed through Pedals for Progress, an organization that collects more than 5,000 bicycles a year to redistribute in countries in Eastern Europe and the Southern Hemisphere.
