Thefts From Cars Plague Towamencin Daycares

TOWAMENCIN, PA -- Towamencin police are warning residents to be on alert after a series of recent thefts from cars at childcare centers around the area.

Multiple thefts have been reported in the past three days, police said Sunday.

“While we work with neighboring agencies to identify and apprehend those responsible, we ask for your help in removing the opportunity for these crimes to occur,” police said.

It’s important to always lock your car, take your keys, and hide your belongings that you did leave in the car, police said.

You should also be alert to your surroundings, and if you see something or someone suspicious, report it immediately to the nearest police department.
