Three Lansdale Parents Arrested For Owing $38K In Child Support: Sheriff

LANSDALE, PA -- Seven parents owing child support were arrested overnight Tuesday into Wednesday during a sweep by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

Altogether, the parents, including one mother and six fathers, owed $66,269.52 in child support, the sheriff's office said.

One defendant resisted arrest, but the rest were taken into custody without incident, according to officials.

Arrested individuals include:

• Gary Arnold of Colonial Dr., East Greenville, Pa., owes $12,435.54 for three children.
• Shawn Bingaman of Countyline Rd., Lansdale, Pa., owes $29,889.85 for two children.
• Zachary Christ of 2nd Ave., Apt. C., Royersford, Pa., owes $3,144.75 for one child.
• Richard Davis of Green St., Lansdale, Pa., owes $6,350.23 for one child.
• Michael Silver of Main St., Apt. A, of East Greenville, Pa., owes $946.02 for one child
• Nicole Smith of Penn St., Lansdale, Pa., owes $1,198.39 for two children.
• Jason Stephen of Dare Lane, Pottstown, Pa., owes $12,404.74 for one child.
