Today I am grateful that today’s the day! Today’s the day that the air is clear and fresh and smells like sheets hung out on a wash line. Today’s the day when the snow is melting so rapidly that there are rivers and lakes flowing like a science project on topographical maps. Today’s the day you could get a suntan out there. Today’s the day that the songbirds are chirping and the robins are poking their beaks into the tough earth searching for worms. Today’s the day that my first son was born. Today’s the day that I am too busy to write more. Today’s the day I am grateful you understand.
