Are you headed to the Mini-Thon tonight at North Penn? The public is invited.

LANSDALE, PA -- The North Penn Student Government Association is inviting the Lansdale community to their second annual Mini-Thon event tonight, April 7, at 6 p.m., the school district announced.

The Mini-Thon is based off of Penn State's Dance Marathon, which is the largest of its kind in the nation. The event will raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund, which offsets the cost of treatments for children battling pediatric cancer.

In 2016, the Mini-Thon raised $36,089.
