TOWAMENCIN TOWNSHIP, PA -- A significant new development could be coming to Towamencin.
A Royal Farms fuel station and convenience store has been proposed for Sumneytown Pike just off of the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, according to The Reporter.
The new development would be at the current site of a gas station and house in front of the Holiday Inn.

Officials reportedly described the development as a “blend” between a restaurant and a convenience store.
The food would be ”beyond” just hoagies, including fried chicken, breakfast foods, and more, the report states.

Royal Farms has locations along the east coast including Ridley Park and York in Pennsylvania.
No serious objections to the proposal were raised at the recent supervisors meeting. Township supervisors will meet again on January 27 at 7:30 p.m.
