Towamencin DAR Member Bonnie Marino Recognized by Fox 29 Philadelphia on Veterans Day at Mater Dei

Towamencin DAR member Bonnie Marino was recognized by Fox 29 Philadelphia in their “You Go There” segment on November 11th. Bonnie is a teacher at Mater Dei Catholic School in Lansdale and has been instrumental in organizing the Veterans Day events there for the past eight consecutive years. Approximately 115 Veterans were in attendance.

Mater Dei students sang, played music and paid tribute to the Veterans. There was an outdoor ceremony at St. Stanislaus Cemetery then the group was invited back into the school where lunch was served.
