Towamencin Men In Alleged Heroin Trafficking Ring Headed to Trial
A pair of Towamencin men whom the DA alleges were involved in a heroin trafficking ring are headed to trial.

LANSDALE, PA — Two Towamencin men arrested in July for their connection to a heroin trafficking ring will head to trial after a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, according to court documents.
Corey "Infamous Prime" Callender, 25, and Julian "JuJu Swank" Johnson, 19, have been charged with possession, intent to deliver, criminal conspiracy, and a host of other charges, the DA's office said.
Andrew "Kahlil" Lewis, 22, who was arrested at the same time, has an arraignment scheduled for September 28, court documents show.

The arrests came after a series of controlled undercover purchases by authorities, led by Towamencin Detective Patrick Horne, police said.
A total of 1,208 bags of heroin stamped with the word "Octopus" were recovered when search warrants were executed at gang members' residences, the DA said.

In addition, $18,000 in cash and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia were recovered.
The total street value of the heroin is more than $12,000, the DA said.
A preliminary hearing for all three is scheduled for August 3.
