Towamencin Offering Free Tree Saplings To Residents

TOWAMENCIN, PA -- Residents can pick up tree saplings for free in Towamencin.

The township has numerous saplings leftover from their distribution event over the weekend. The saplings were provided to property owners who were impacted by the Turnpike's widening project.

Bins of Norway Spruce and Eastern White Pine are available, the township said.

The bunches are located outside the Municipal Complex's administration building.

Officials recommend you plant saplings immediately, with 10 feet of space between them to allow them to grow.
