TRACK AND FIELD: Christopher Dock Duo Takes Home District Titles On Day 1

Bailey Kratz and Niki Clements won the girls long jump and pole vault, respectively.

Lansdale’s Christopher Dock High School came away with two big titles on day 1 of the District 1 Championships at Coatesville Area High School.

Competing in the Class AA Division, Senior Bailey Kratz won the girls long jump while Niki Clements won the girls pole vault.

Both girls qualified for the Pennsylvania state championships with their wins, which will be held next week at Shippensburg University.

Kratz leapt 16-8 1/4, which, although just shy of the state qualifying standard, was still good enough for a clear victory.

Clements also fell just short of the standard, vaulting 9-6. The standard is 10-6, but Clements will be right in the mix at the championships next week.
