2 Disabled Tractor-Trailers Shut Down Part Of Sumneytown Pike

Two disabled tractor-trailers have led to a road closure in Towamencin Friday afternoon.

TOWAMENCIN, PA — Two disabled tractor-trailers have led to a road closure in Towamencin Friday afternoon.

Police urged motorists to avoid the area of Sumneytown Pike and Old Forty Foot Road.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. One tractor-trailer was pulled off to the side of the road, while the second lost part of its load, according to police.
