2 Dead In 202 Parkway Crash In Montgomery Township
The road and hiking trail nearby were shut down for hours after the incident.
MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people were killed in the tractor-trailer crash on 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed.
Identities of the victims have not yet been released.
The incident occurred just after noon on the Parkway near Horsham Road.

The parkway remained closed from Horsham Road to County Line Road hours after the incident.
The walking trail paralleling the parkway is shut down in that stretch as well.

It's not clear what caused the crash, but NBC Philadelphia reports the tractor trailer was carrying multiple vehicles on its bed. 6ABC reports that the other vehicle involved in the incident was an SUV.
It's not yet clear if any other injuries were incurred in the crash.
