The driver in a fatal DUI crash may have dug himself in a hole by bragging on Twitter about getting off easy from a speeding ticket just days before the incident, according to a story in The Reporter.
Sean Christopher Sperl, 23, of Upper Gwynedd was involved in a crash just after midnight on April 23, 2013 that killed Lansdale man Ryan Alexander Petrille, 21, according to the report.
On April 11, 2013, Sperl allegedly posted on Twitter about a speeding he’d just received, writing “79 in a 45…$112 dollar ticket and no points not to shabby,” the report states.

Sperl is being charged with homicide by vehicle and the social media comments before the accident could be used against him, according to the report.
