UPDATE: Suspect In Custody After Lansdale Stabbing

One person has been arrested after another was stabbed several times in Lansdale on Tuesday night, police said.

The victim is expected to survive.

A motive remains unclear at this point.

The incident occurred late Tuesday on Acorn Avenue, according to the Montgomery County Active Incident Dispatch.

It was reported at about 10:02 p.m. near the intersection with N. Towamencin Avenue.

Eyewitnesses said that ambulances arrived at around 9:30 p.m. and left with at least one individual. Several police cars arrived shortly thereafter.

EMS crews from EMS Station 345 were at the scene until nearly 1 a.m.

Sirens could be heard throughout the borough Tuesday night as police and emergency responders arrived at the scene.

Police from several neighboring municipalities responded to the incident.

Two children were led from the home in police cruisers at about 12:40 p.m., eyewitnesses said.
