Twin Tried To Blame Brother For Lansdale Teen Stabbing: Police
The original suspect is in fact the innocent twin brother of the real suspect, who is now in custody.

LANSDALE, PA -- The man who police initially believed was responsible for the stabbing of a Lansdale teen is in fact the innocent twin brother of the real suspect.
Leonard Greenwood, the man initially sought by police in connection with the Sunday afternoon stabbing, is the twin brother of Lance Greenwood, the true suspect. The pair have the same birthday.
Police discovered the misdirection after Lance provided police with his twin brother’s driver’s license when they questioned him.

Leonard escorted his brother Lance to the Lansdale Police Department late Monday evening, where Lance admitted he provided a false identity to police.
The stabbing incident occurred at 1 p.m. on Sunday, when Lance Greenwood and a 16-year-old boy were “play fighting” in Greenwood’s E. Main Street apartment.

Greenwood then allegedly went into another room where retrieved a knife, police said, before returning to the room and stabbing the teen once in the chest.
He was airlifted to Abington Hospital Trauma Center in serious but stable condition, where he remained Tuesday morning.
