WATCH: North Penn Chamber Singers Perform Live on 101.1
North Penn Chamber singers performed live on air Tuesday morning, the day before they appear at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.

LANSDALE, PA -- The North Penn Chamber Singers, winners of 101.1's Christmas Choir competition, had the unique opportunity to perform live on the air on Tuesday morning.
North Penn performed "The Christmas Song" Tuesday morning, the same song that beat out both Council Rock North and Council Rock South in the final round of the high school competition last week.
For the efforts, the choir earned $5,000. And now they get another once in a lifetime opportunity: they will perform with The Philly Pops at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

"We're really excited, it's a really big opportunity," said Noel, one of the members of the choir.
"The entire school had our backs," added another member of the choir, Liam.

Choir Director Matt Klenk said that he was "extremely proud" of the students, who learned the song in just two weeks.
Klenk said that the choir will use the $5,000 award to replace the school's grand piano.
