Watch: Woman Rescued From Car After Crash In Hatfield

A woman was rescued when she became trapped in her vehicle after an accident on Tuesday evening in Hatfield, authorities said.

HATFIELD, PA -- Authorities rescued a woman who was trapped in her vehicle after crashing her vehicle in Hatfield, authorities said.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening behind the Shop Rite on Forty Foot Road.

The car crashed through a fence and went down a steep embankment, authorities said.

Crews were able to get the woman out of the vehicle and into an ambulance, where she was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The Hatfield Police Department, VMSC Ambulance, Hatfield Township Fire Department, and Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company all responded to the scene.
