Wawa Reportedly Proposed In Harleysville
A new Wawa could be on the way to Harleysville.

HARLEYSVILLE, PA — The Philadelphia area's favorite convenience store is continuing to grow.
A new Wawa has reportedly been proposed for the Mainland Pointe development by the Lower Salford Township Board of Supervisors.
According to The Reporter, there is a proposal for a 5,000 square foot building plus a fuel center at the corner of Sumneytown Pike and Quarry Road, which will be extended.

The first step in the proposal is the conditional use application.
The proposal was submitted at the recent Board of Supervisors meeting on Oct. 18 by representatives of two developers, the Provco Group and Pineville Properties.

They said the Wawa was positioned at the most remote part of the development and that lighting would be conscious of nearby neighbors.
