Winter Storm Watch Issued for Montgomery County
Between 6 and 16 inches of snow and wind gusts up to 30 mph are expected.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the region, including Bucks and Montgomery counties, that begins Monday night and goes through Tuesday afternoon. According to the storm watch, the impending weather could be ”one of the largest snow storms of the winter.
Now is the time to start preparing for the storm, which could be a blizzard, forecasters predict. Snow accumulation of 6 to 16 inches is possible, with winds between 5 and 15 mph and wind gusts of 30 mph, according to the storm watch.

The storm is expected to start as light snow between 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday and then ramp up during the day and into the night before finally ending on Tuesday, according the National Weather Service.The Winter Storm Watch is through Tuesday at noon.
Temperatures are expected to be mostly in the 20s. Visibility will likely be reduced to one quarter to one half a mile at times, forecasters predict.
