Woman Hit By Train On Lansdale Line Committed Suicide, Coroner Says
Sunday's train death was ruled a suicide by the Montgomery County Coroner.

The woman who was killed by a SEPTA train in Ambler on Sunday morning committed suicide, according to a report in The Intelligencer.
Police identified the Ambler woman as 48-year-old Nancy Berry, the report states.
A suicide note was found in the woman’s care, according to the report.

Berry was struck by the train just north of the Ambler station near the intersection of Mt. Pleasant and Railroad Avenues at about 11:10 a.m. Sunday, according to SEPTA.
The train blew its horn and attempted to apply emergency brakes but was unsuccessful.

The incident caused service to be suspended for several hours on Sunday afternoon between Doylestown and Glenside.
