Worcester Pizzeria Makes It To Best Pizza Tourney Final Four

WORCESTER, PA — Who makes the best pizza in all of Montgomery County? Cast your vote in the Final Four now for the March Madness-style competition to determine the maker of the county's best pie.

The event is organized by the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board. All told, 64 pizza shops entered. Now, as round five begins, only four remain.

The semifinal matchups are between:

• Via Veneto Pizza of Norristown vs. Vince and Friends of East Greenville
• Tony and Joe's of Conshohocken vs. Bravo Pizza of Worcester

“We’re continuing to see the passion that people in this area have for their pizza!” Ed Harris, the Board's Chief Marketing Officer, said in a statement. “The contest really engages the community, and offers such a great opportunity for businesses across Montgomery County. ”

Voting for the Final Four will be open until April 1 at 10 p.m. The championship round will take place between April 2 and April 8.

2017's topic reached more than 400,000 people on Facebook, according to organizers.
