As we begin the 2014-2015 school district budget process we have to make some assumptions about our needs in the coming year. One of the biggest challenges North Penn is facing is the difficult task of knowing the real impact of charter schools on our district, students, and staff. What we do know is that the funding comes directly out of North Penn taxpayer's pockets without an equal reduction in operating costs. This means less money for North Penn schools.
