Youth Rugby Tournament Expected To Draw 100 To Towamencin
The former North Penn Rugby Football Club also sports a men's team and high school teams.

A youth rugby tournament sponsored by the Montgomery Bucks Amaeur Rugby Association (MBARA) is expected to draw hundreds to Towamencin Township this Sunday.
About one hundred athletes from four different clubs are expected to play in the June 28 tournament.
Formerly known as the North Penn Rugby Football Club, the MBARA is a 501c3 club that was founded in 1989.

It consists of a men’s team, high school girls and boys teams, and a youth flag team.
Their girls team, the Valkyries, took home the state championships in 2015.

The co-ed youth team is in its third season, and includes players from Pre-K through 8th grade.
It’s a 6 week summer program that practices 2 times a week and plays their games on Sunday’s with other local youth teams.
