• Charges filed in armed robbery (tnonline.com) — A district judge in Lansford has set unsecured bail at $75,000 for a Slatington man accused of using a firearm to steal a glass bong from a Mahoning Township smoke shop. State police say surveillance footage, license plate data, and text messages helped them identify the suspect, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 17.
   

• 4 charged in 248 drive-by shooting (tnonline.com) — State police have charged four Allentown-area men in a deadly March 2 drive-by shooting on Route 248 near Bowmanstown, with follow-up interviews conducted on West Patterson Street in Lansford. Investigators say cellphone, social media, and vehicle evidence link the suspects to the ambush. All four face homicide charges and are awaiting a preliminary hearing before a Palmerton district judge.
