14 Charged, 5 Arrested In Dec. DUI Stops: Penndel Police

PENNDEL, PA — Fourteen people were charged and five people arrested during DUI patrols in Penndel last month, borough police announced Wednesday.

According to a news release, 30 cars were stopped during DUI details in the borough last month. Fourteen criminal code and vehicle code charges were filed, five people were arrested and multiple warnings were issued to drivers.

According to Penndel Police, the charges included DUI, possession of controlled substances, possession of a firearm, failure to stop for a red light, expired registrations, not wearing seat belts and failure to produce an insurance or registration card.
