BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —Fire crews handled two blazes over the weekend: a building fire that was later determined to be in a scrap yard and a house fire.

The Levittown Fire Company No. 2 along with the Edgely Fire Company responded to a reported building fire just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 7000 block of Beaver-Dam Road.

Arriving units found heavy smoke in the rear of the building. After review, it was determined that the fire was in a neighboring scrap yard.

At 12:15 a.m. Saturday, fire crews from the Edgely Fire Company were dispatched to a house fire on Kenwood Drive North, Fire Marshal Kevin T. Dippolito said.

He said the fire was contained to the outside rear wall and a small area of the attic ceiling along the back wall.

Dippolito said the cause was accidental and that there were no injuries.
