2-Hour Delayed Opening For Pennsbury Schools
Due to the overnight storm, the Pennsbury School District will delay the start of school by two hours on Wednesday morning.

FALLSINGTON, PA —The Pennsbury School District will operate on a 2-hour delay Wednesday morning following the overnight storm that brought heavy rain, strong winds, and flooding to the area.
Pennsbury Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith said county superintendents met with the Bucks County Office of Emergency Management Tuesday afternoon to review the potential impact of this storm on travel and flooding Wednesday morning.
Based on the information shared, the Pennsbury School District will operate on a 2-hour delay Wednesday.

The two-hour delay start times are as follows:
- Pennsbury High School: 9:20 a.m.
- Middle Schools: 10:10 a.m.
- Elementary schools: 11 a.m.
- KidsCare will open at 9 a.m.
Buses will arrive at stops two hours later than usual, and school will begin two hours later than usual.

High School Keystone Exams will be postponed from Wednesday to Thursday. More information will be shared by the high school.
Some sidewalks and intersections may be flooded and difficult to cross. Please plan accordingly.
The decision will be reevaluated during the overnight hours to determine the impact of the storm. If needed, any further changes will be communicated around 7 a.m. through the following portals: Phone call, email, text, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the district website.

The forecast for today is for brightening skies with a high temperature near 50. It will be breezy with a west wind 15 to 25 mph. Overnight it will be partly cloudy with a low around freezing.
On Thursday, expect sunny skies with a high near 46.
The next storm is forecast to move into the area on Friday evening with a 100 percent chance of rain on Friday night.
The weekend is looking great with partly sunny skies on Saturday and a high near 55 and mostly sunny skies on Sunday with a high near 36.
