2 Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash On Interstate 95
State Police said a Montgomery County man and Philadelphia woman suffered injuries in the Bristol Township crash on Saturday.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —Two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash that took place on northbound Interstate 95 last northbound in Bristol Township on Saturday afternoon, state police said.
Pennsylvania State Police, who recently released the incident report, said that the crash happened at 12:24 p.m. Saturday and involved a 2009 Mercedes SUV and a 2016 Chevrolet.
State Police said the Mercedes struck the rear of the Chevrolet, which then ran off the roadway and collided with the highway’s guardrail.

A 49-year-old Willow Grove man, who was driving the Chevrolet, was taken by the Bucks County Rescue Squad to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment, state police said.
His passenger, a 41-year-old Philadelphia woman, also was injured and taken to Lower Bucks Hospital by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, state police said.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 41-year-old Philadelphia man, was unharmed.
Both vehicles suffered disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
State Police said that the driver of the Mercedes will be cited for following too closely.
