Power Back For Most In Bucks County After Windy Weather

Strong winds overnight knocked out power to more than 20,000 residents in Bucks County, PECO reports. By 9 p.m. about 1,300 people were still without power, according to PECO's outage map.

A storm system passed through the region overnight, bringing gusts of up to 60 mph, the National Weather Service said. A severe thunderstorm warning was in place around midnight, as heavy thunder and lightning, strong winds and rain passed across Bucks County.

The following outages were reported by municipality on Sunday morning:

• 1,965 - Doylestown Borough
• 1,947 - Plumstead
• 1,540 - Solebury
• 1,465 - Doylestown Twp
• 937 - Northampton
• 924 - Bensalem
• 857 - Lower Southampton
• 825- Morrisville
• 683 - Warwick
• 569 - Bristol
• 557- Buckingham
• 421 - Warminster
• 347 - Langhorne
• 232 - Upper Southampton
• 182- Upper Makefield
• 164- Wrightstown
