$2K Matching Grant Will Help Fund Fallsington Library Science Program
The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance grant will keep the library's Science Meets Art program funded for next year.

FALLSINGTON, PA —The Fallsington Library is getting a $2,000 matching grant to support its Science Meets Art program for next year.
The grant comes from the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, a PPA Partner through the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts for the library’s signature monthly program, which features unique themes for learners of all ages.
“We’re thrilled to receive this generous support from the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance,” Fallsington Library Director Charlene Rendeiro said. “Over the past 10 years, it’s been wonderful to see children, teens, and adults enjoy these interactive programs. We look forward to continuing to share the joy of science and art with our community.”

The program enables the council to reach a wider audience by increasing access to funds for organizations and artists across the state, thereby increasing statewide audience exposure to arts activities.
Fallsington Library received an Entry to Program Steam grant, one of two types of grant awards available to organizations that support arts programs.
For next year, Fallsington Library’s Science Meets Arts program topics include “The Lure's Lore of Tea,” “All Things Squid,” “Da Vinci,” and “Dragon Workshop.”
All programs are free and open to the public. To ensure adequate space and craft supplies, guests can register in advance by visiting the Fallsington Library website.
