3 Homes Damaged, 8 Displaced In Bristol Fire
Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick provided an update on the fire Friday on Garfield Street in Bristol Borough.
LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Three homes were damaged and eight people were displaced in a Bristol Borough fire on Friday, officials said.
Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick said that no injuries were reported in the blaze on Garfield Street near Bristol High School that heavily damaged three homes.
"While we are profoundly grateful that no injuries have been reported, this was a frightening and devastating morning for all involved," Fitzpatrick said.

He said nearly 100 brave firefighters and first responders from Bristol Borough, Bristol Township, Croydon, and surrounding companies were on scene within moments.
Fire crews attacked heavy flames from the ground and rooftops, "putting themselves in harm’s way to protect lives, homes, neighbors, and the students and staff just across the street," Fitzpatrick said.

Fitzpatrick said he would remain in close contact with local officials and first responders to ensure the families impacted, the departments that answered the call, and the entire Bbrough has resources, support, and assistance they need in the days ahead.
