6 People Displaced In Bristol Township Fire

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —Six people were displaced in a fire at a home on Ivy Hill Road Friday evening, fire officials said.

Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin T. Dippolito said the Levittown Fire Company No. 2 was dispatched at 5:06 p.m. Friday to a home on Ivy Hill Road.

He said the fire was contained to a 2nd-floor bedroom and the cause has been deemed accidental.

Dippolito said that a man suffered injuries to his hands attempting to extinguish the fire.

He was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.

The six residents who were displaced will be staying with other family members, Dippolito said.

Levittown Fire Company No. 2 was assisted by the Edgely, Third District, and William Penn fire companies.
