8 Bicycle Thefts Top Bristol Township Crimes

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The township's police department handled numerous bicycle thefts over a three-day period, including a burglary at a store in which three bikes were stolen.

Those were some of the criminal incidents released by the Bristol Township Police Department in its blotter.

Here are the criminal incidents:

Arrest —Aug. 11, 9:16 a.m. Emilie Road, Levittown. A 52-year-old Burlington, N.J., man was arrested on a local warrant out of Bristol Township. He was processed and arraigned by Judge Wagner. Bail was set at $125,000 with 10 percent. He was taken to Bucks County Prison.

Arrest —Aug. 11, 7:05 p.m. Lincoln Street, Croydon. A 46-year-old Bristol man was charged with simple assault. He was processed and arraigned by Judge Hughes. Bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.

Arrest —Aug. 13, 5:13 a.m. Bristol Pike. A 32-year-old Levittown man was arrested on a local warrant out of Bristol Township. He was processed and arraigned by Judge Hughes. Bail was set at $50,000 with 10 percent. He was sent to Bucks County Prison.

Arrest —Aug. 13, 11:22 a.m. Green Lane. A 38-year-old Croydon man was arrested on a bench warrant out of Bucks County and released to the Sheriff's Office.

Burglary —Aug. 13, 9:07 a.m. Emilie Road, Levittown. Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect(s) made forced entry into a building and stole three Diamondback bicycles. The estimated value is $2,000.

Theft —Aug. 11, 1:18 p.m. Bristol Pike. An unknown subject removed several items passing all points of sale. No value was given.

Theft —Aug. 11, 3:50 p.m. Catalpa Lane, Levittown. Two unknown subjects stole a generator from a 2016 Ford Truck. The estimated value is $1,500.

Theft —Aug. 11, 3:50 p.m. New Falls Road, Levittown. An unknown subject stole a Mongoose bicycle. The estimated value is $150.

Theft —Aug. 13, 5:32 p.m. Indian Creek Drive, Levittown. An unknown subject stole a Chaos bicycle. No value was given.

Theft —Aug. 13, 4:32 p.m. Indian Creek Entry, Levittown. An unknown subject removed two bicycles from a backyard. The estimated value is $1,898.

Theft —Aug. 13, 8:49 p.m. New Falls Road, Levittown. Sometime overnight, an unknown subject stole a generator and miscellaneous tools from a vacant business. No value was given.

Theft —Aug. 13, 10:31 p.m. Foster Avenue Circle, Bristol. Two unknown subjects stole a Mongoose bicycle. The estimated value is $300.

Vandalism —Aug. 11, 7:07 a.m. Mitchell Road, Levittown. Sometime overnight, an unknown subject keyed a 2023 Cadillac on the driver's side door and front fender. No damage value was given.
